Question 1

What is SociaConnect?

Accepted Answer

SociaConnect is an influencer marketing and creator collaboration platform where brands find creators, creators find paid campaigns, and both sides manage partnership workflows in one place.

Question 2

Who is the platform built for?

Accepted Answer

It supports brands, agencies, influencers, and UGC creators. Brands can post campaigns and review applications, while creators can discover relevant sponsorship opportunities.

Question 3

How does a campaign move from post to collaboration?

Accepted Answer

A brand posts a campaign brief, creators apply with proposals, the brand reviews creator fit, and accepted creators can move into direct collaboration.

Question 4

Can a brand accept more than one creator?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Brands can accept one creator or multiple creators for a campaign when the brief calls for more content, platforms, or audience segments.

Question 5

Do brands and creators both have subscriptions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SociaConnect offers separate brand and creator plans so campaign limits, applications, messaging, commissions and support match each role's workflow.

Question 6

How are subscription payments handled?

Accepted Answer

Subscription checkout and plan management happen inside SociaConnect for eligible brand and creator packages.

Question 7

Do plan limits affect campaign activity?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Plans may include limits for campaign creation, campaign applications, direct messages, platform commissions and support access depending on the user's role.

Question 8

Do creator plans include platform commission?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Creator plan details may include the platform commission that applies when receiving collaboration payouts through Stripe Connect. Brand plans are separate from creator payout commission. Review creator plan information before purchase or renewal so you understand the subscription price, included limits, and any commission that applies.

Question 9

Does SociaConnect process brand-to-creator campaign payments?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Collaboration payments must be managed inside SociaConnect through Stripe. Brands fund accepted collaborations in the platform, funds are held in escrow, and creator payouts are released through Stripe Connect after the collaboration reaches the required release conditions.

Question 10

Can a brand or creator pay outside SociaConnect?

Accepted Answer

No. Requesting, sending, or accepting payment outside the platform for a posted campaign violates SociaConnect rules. Campaigns, applications, or collaborations that try to bypass platform payments may be rejected, canceled, or lead to account suspension.

Question 11

What does escrow mean for collaborations?

Accepted Answer

Escrow means the brand funds the accepted collaboration before the creator begins delivery, and the payment is held by the platform payment flow until the work is approved, completed, or otherwise eligible for release under the collaboration workflow.

Question 12

What does a creator need for payouts?

Accepted Answer

Creators must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and keep payout requirements current before receiving collaboration payouts. Stripe may request identity, business, tax, or bank details as part of that process.

Question 13

When can a brand and creator chat?

Accepted Answer

Brands and creators can chat after a creator is accepted for a campaign, keeping direct messages tied to an approved collaboration.

Question 14

Is post-acceptance chat paid?

Accepted Answer

No. After acceptance, brand-creator chat is free inside the platform.

Question 15

Can creators apply before chatting with a brand?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The flow is application first, brand review second, acceptance third, and then direct collaboration chat.

Question 16

Can payment details be discussed in chat?

Accepted Answer

You can discuss the collaboration scope and agreed amount in platform chat, but payment must still be funded, held, and released through SociaConnect. Do not share external payment links, wallet details, or instructions to pay outside the posted campaign workflow.
